How the current DeepCodeAgent beta handles selected files and ordinary website data.

Last updated: September 2026.

Files processed by the tool

The current DeepCodeAgent firewall workflow is designed to parse selected firewall matrices and supported FortiGate configuration files in the browser. The current beta does not require those selected files to be uploaded to a DeepCodeAgent application backend for analysis.

Website data

Like most websites, the hosting platform, security systems, caching layers or analytics services may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested pages and diagnostic logs. This is separate from the contents of files selected inside the local analysis tool.

Third-party resources

The site may load third-party libraries, fonts, analytics or other web resources. Those providers may receive normal web-request metadata. DeepCodeAgent should not be used as a substitute for your organization's own security, privacy or data-classification requirements.

Retention

DeepCodeAgent does not intentionally store the contents of firewall matrices or supported configuration files selected for the current local analysis workflow. Hosting/security logs and any future optional account features may have separate retention rules that will be documented when introduced.

Contact and changes

This policy may evolve as DeepCodeAgent adds features. Material changes to file handling will be reflected on this page before the relevant feature is presented as generally available.
